Blessings mystics and seekers!
Our last week of January 2021 is upon us making planets of noise in the coming days. This weeks major highlights entail a Sun square to Uranus on Tuesday, a Full Moon in Leo making an opposition to a Sun/Jupiter conjunction on Thursday, a Venus/Pluto conjunction, and Mercury stationing retrograde in Aquarius on Saturday.
This is an incredibly powerful week for self evaluation on where we seek recognition and acceptance from society, or who we value. We may feel inclined to be overly critical of ourselves in ways that are not productive. We benefit more from being open to learning, growing, admitting where we could take more responsibility for filling our own cup, and not burdening others with our insecurities. Find ways this week to empower self love from within, rather than seeking validation from your community, colleagues, lovers, or friends.
With Mercury retrograde in Aquarius and our Full Moon in Leo opposite Sun/Jupter in Aquarius, the frequency of the 5 of Swords from the tarot comes to mind.
The 5 of Swords is ruled by Venus in Aquarius and holds an energy representative of conflict and the drive to win or succeed at all costs. This card has come up a lot in readings I have done for people who feel the pressure of modern day rat race/captalist expectations that society puts on us. This can also be a card that comes up when we feel pressured to reach a social norm or ideal that our peers have established. Its common when the 5 of Swords comes up that we are stuck in a cycle of comparing our journey to others and feeling a need to compete or prove ourselves to the outside world. This energy, while it can motivate us, typically turns into a lot of internal pain/negative inner dialog, and conflict within our minds and hearts. We may be feeling these things in certain areas of our lives during this Mercury retrograde cycle, as well as during the Full Moon in Leo on Thursday. We do well asking ourselves where we can value our own personal journey and not get hung up on what someone else is doing in their lives. Don't compare yourself or your journey to anyone else. You are writing your own story unique to you. Work more on loving yourself and your story. Feel empowered to develop skills that are inherent to who you are, rather than trying to fit into an imaginary box you have create for yourself.
There is no glass ceiling. The limit does not exist when it comes to your potential. Embrace who you are and don't be afraid to share it. Let your heart fill up and let your light shine. You are perfect as you are.

Moon in Gemini
Moon inconjunct Pluto in Capricorn 1:12 am
Moon enters Cancer 10:52 am
Moon inconjunct Saturn in Aquarius 7:38 pm
Moon inconjunct Sun in Aquarius 11:23 pm
Moon sextile Uranus in Taurus 11:49 pm
Our Moon enters its sign of rulership, Cancer, today as it waxes towards our Full Moon hitting in Leo on Thursday this week. With the Moon in Cancer, we benefit from active self care, meaning, it is important for us to initiate providing the emotional needs to ourselves that we feel called to. You can look at your personal birth chart and see what house you have the sign of Cancer. Whichever house the Moon is passing through, you may feel drawn to nurture yourself in the themes of that specific house.
There are also some hard aspects between the Moon, Saturn, and the Sun today which could have us feeling a bit bogged down or challenged when it comes to responsibilities and things that require us to be more of service to others, rather than in service to ourselves. We benefit from finding ways to get our responsibilities handled while still finding space for ourselves. It is positive for us to take a practical approach to our duties while still handling ourselves with care.
Tuesday 1/26
Moon in Cancer
Moon inconjunct Jupiter in Aquarius 3:32 am
Sun in Aquarius square Uranus in Taurus 4:48 am
Moon sextile Mars in Taurus 5:17 am
Moon trine Neptune in Pisces 10:57 pm
The Sun makes a hard aspect to Uranus in Taurus today which could have us experiencing breakthroughs when it comes to our perception of self in the world. We benefit from being open to what opportunities for change are presenting themselves to us at this time. There could be outside circumstances that come into our lives that propel us into new territory.
We could also feel impulsive or anxious when it comes to the energy brewing within us. We do best being mindful with how we react to outside circumstances. It is also beneficial for us to keep ourselves focused on what helps us stay grounded during uncertain or ungrounding times.
Wednesday 1/27
Moon in Cancer
Moon opposition Venus in Capricorn 7:37 am
Moon void of course opposition Pluto in Capricorn 9:55 am
Moon inconjunct Mercury in Aquarius 11:09 am
Moon enters Leo 6:54 pm
We could potentially feel overly sensitive and run the risk of taking things personally today if we are not discerning of our triggers vs. reality. This is a powerful day for balancing self care and tuning into what we need emotionally while also being rational and mindful with what we project and need to work on.
Thursday 1/28
Moon in Leo
Moon opposition Saturn in Aquarius 3:41 am
Moon square Uranus in Taurus 7:11 am
Venus conjunct Pluto in Capricorn 8:18 am
Full Moon 9 degrees Leo 11:16 am
Moon opposition Jupiter in Aquarius 11:39 am
Moon square Mars in Taurus 2:32 pm
Sun conjunct Jupiter in Aquarius 5:40 pm
Today is intense to say the least. We start out the day with a Venus/Pluto conjunction at 24 degrees of Pluto, followed by a Full Moon at 9 degrees of Leo, and last a Sun and Jupiter combustion at 9 degrees of Aquarius, which also happens to be opposite the Full Moon. In order to understand the frequency of this energy in our own personal lives we should find where 9 degrees Leo and Aquarius is hitting in our charts, and acknowledge that there is something being released and expressed in this area of our lives. Full Moons are a time of letting go and releasing something no longer in service to the direction we are going. Leo is the sign of self expression, the inner child, and the need for recognition and validation. There is a deep need for attention and love in the sign of Leo. Not just any love, but genuine and authentic deep heart centered love.
We may need to acknowledge where we seek approval and validation from others in ways that are not productive. It is important that we learn or remember that true love is a frequency we can tune into within the self at any time, and is not something that we should seek outside the self. While we can share and experience love with others, when we cultivate the frequency of love within the self, we are capable of experiencing love with and around all things, rather than feeling like there is a hole inside of us that needs to be filled from an outside source.
Aquarius is the sign that is centered around progress of humanity and cultivating a powerful sense of friendship and community. With our Sun and Jupiter ina combustion, we may feel like we are evaluating the way we perceive the self (Sun) in relation to the world around us (Aquarius) and whether the groups or community we associate ourselves with are promoting growth (Jupiter.)
We benefit from being extremely mindful of where our ego and pride get in the way of us connecting with others in productive ways.
Friday 1/29
Moon in Leo
Moon inconjunct Neptune in Pisces 5:10 am
Moon inconjunct Pluto in Capricorn 3:36 pm
Moon void of course opposition Mercury in Aquarius 5:53 pm
Moon inconjunct Venus in Capricorn 6:39 pm
All of the mild transits involving our Moon in Leo today are hard. As someone who has been under this frequency for the entirety of last year, I can say all of these inconjunct aspects feel incredibly frustrating and uncomfortable when it comes to our perception of self and how we wish to move forward in our lives. Try not to get too bogged down by the tension today as it is a temporary vibe and will be short lived. We benefit from finding ways to do things that give us a sense of self love and empowerment. Try to take a break from dissecting what isn’t perfect, and find ways to have gratitude for the simplicity of basic needs getting met.
Saturday 1/30
Moon enters Virgo 12:02 am
Mercury stations retrograde 7:52 am
Moon inconjunct Saturn in Aquarius 8:54 am
Moon trine Uranus in Taurus 11:52 am
Moon inconjunct Jupiter in Aquarius 5:01 pm
Moon inconjunct Sun in Aquarius 7:51 pm
Moon trine Mars in Taurus 8:57 pm
The Moon enters Virgo in the early morning hours which enables us to have a grounded and practical approach to responsibilities that need our attention over the next couple days. We benefit from getting organized and taking initiative to chip away at our daily routine in a positive way.
Mercury stations retrograde and will be retrograde until February 21st. As always with Mercury retrograde, this is not a good time to start new projects, sign contracts, or make any large life decisions. Sometimes we do not have much of a choice, as things will happen as they are meant to, but anything done during a Mercury retrograde may end up needing review once Mercury stations direct. To understand how Mercury retrograde will influence you in the coming weeks, look to where Aquarius is in your chart, find the house, and that will be the area of your life highlighted during this time.
Sunday 1/31
Moon in Virgo
Moon opposition Neptune in Pisces 9:09 am
Moon trine Pluto in Capricorn 7:17 pm
Moon inconjunct Mercury rx in Aquarius 9:05 pm
We could have a hard time weighing reality vs. fantasy today but we benefit from finding ways to feed into our dreams while finding practical ways to achieve them. With Mercury retrograde at the beginning of its cycle, we could feel frustrated with communication dynamics that are not going our way. We need to be open to seeing things from other peoples perspectives rather than always trying to prove our own.
