Blessings to you!
If you are reading this then you have made it through another terrifying week of 2020. I can’t express how much collective fear and anxiety I have been feeling. I am sure many of you are feeling it as well. I don’t enjoy it when people go on and on about being an empath, but as an empath, it is truly difficult to be living in these times with so much collective sadness. It was hard before 2020, it's getting even harder now. I am finding that self care rituals, physical exercise, and really having to focus on healthy ways to relieve stress have been at the forefront of my mind. I felt a big shift on Wednesday of last week when Mars stationed retrograde, I felt anxious the whole day. Despite this collective anxiety I am absorbing, I do try to focus on the wins we as a collective are facing. We are forced to all have to make some major changes in our lives that will hopefully align us with the life path we have always wanted for ourselves. This is such a “make or break” type of year. It is imperative we do all of our course correcting now. I try to focus on celebrating the small wins. I am living through 2020 sober and haven’t given up on my sobriety. While at times I haven’t eaten the most healthy, and also had a hard time getting out of bed to go on my daily walk or do my workouts, waking up clean and sober is a huge one for me and enables me to find gratitude in my life for the things I have worked towards when it comes to my physical and spiritual health. I hope we are all able to reflect on our habits during this time. While it may feel futile to be healthy and optimistic, it is much needed that we set an example for a better world in the actions we take when it comes to our daily routine and how we treat ourselves. The way we take care of ourselves in turn affects the fabric of the cosmos. And that is a great segway into the energy of our New Moon we have this week!
On Thursday at 4 am Pacific time, we have our New Moon at 25 degrees of Virgo giving us an opportunity to get serious when it comes to our plans for the future. Virgo is the mutable earth sign in astrology, ruling the 6th house and ruled by the planet Mercury. Virgo shares a relationship to the goddess Astrea, as well as Demeter/Ceres.
Virgo represents servitude, health, wellness, caregiving, organization, strategies, and problem solving, just to name a few. In Virgo we learn the benefit of daily routine, and creating repetition in life that we can build upon that will in turn lead us to ultimate success and self master of our material world.
This New Moon energy also makes a harmonious earth trine to Saturn in Capricorn, and makes a T-square involving the North Node in Gemini, and South Node in Sagittarius. This energy will bring our values and belief systems into the forefront of our minds and we may feel an internal and cosmic pressure to make choices that are in alignment with who we are on a deeper level.
Besides our New Moon energy this week, we have some intense transits in the days leading up to Thursday. Monday, our Sun in Virgo makes an earth trine to Pluto in Capricorn giving us a frequency focused on productivity and taking life by the figurative balls, so that we can really feel like we are in control of something amidst all of the chaos.
Tuesday, Venus in Leo and Uranus in Taurus make a square, giving us a lot of tension when it comes to our relationships and how we operate within them. The benefit of this tension is that we are able to find creative ways to inspire ourselves when it comes to new projects. We could experience some unexpected obstacles or changes within our relationships or creative projects that require fast problem solving. This transit also inspires to want to change something drastic about our appearance. We may want to get a new outfit, hair do, or redecorate a room in our home. Change is afoot, and are inspired to want to show that change by making a physical change to ourselves.
By the end of the week we have some hard transits involving Mercury, so communication may be off and a lot of tension could be in the air. We benefit from planning on feeling wiped out and irritable by the end of the week. We may need to plan for some down time now as we are likely to feel victimized by responsibilities or anyone requiring too much attention from us.
It is imperative that we get in a mindset focused on building healthy practices in our lives. This is a great time for starting a new exercise or health routine, cleaning an area of your home you have been neglecting, doing rituals focused on bringing more opportunities to help your community or family in your life. We are going through some difficult times as a collective but so much good can come out of this change. Try and focus your attention on where you can make your corner of the world a little brighter.

We have an equal amount of complicated and hard energy today mixed with some areas that give us a creative boost and a ton of energy. This is a good day for productivity and making any changes to our physical routine or surroundings. We may feel some tension around the projects we are doing, but that tension can help motivate us to think outside the box in order to execute the goals we have currently in life right now. We could feel a little bit needy with the Moon in Leo, and could seek outside validation from others. Try to find ways to work some self love into your routine today.

Venus in Leo makes a hard aspect to Uranus in Taurus today which could inspire us to change something about how we present ourselves to the world. Maybe we feel inspired to try something new with our hairstyle, revamp how we present ourselves on social media, or reorganize/decorate an area in the home. This is a great time for that! We could feel insecure/ungrounded in relationships during this transit. It's important we remember to fill our own cup before looking for that in other people. Self love and breaking out of old identity patterns that are not in alignment with what we wish to bring in is a powerful frequency for the days ahead.

Today is a powerful day full of positive earth energy. We have our New Moon in Virgo making a powerful trine to Saturn, The New Moon also makes a square to the South and North nodes making a T-square formation in the mutable signs of Gemini, Sagittarius, and Virgo. Mercury in Libra makes a hard aspect to Jupiter in Capricorn giving us some tension when it comes to moving things forward. This is a beneificial day for setting intentions towards goals we have in relation to our physical world. It is positive for us to focus on goals and plans when it comes to our health, finances, work, home life, and creating strategies or plans around how we are going to keep moving forward for the rest of the year.
New Moons are all about planting seeds for the future. It may feel hard to feel motivated or optimistic about the goals and plans but we need to mitigate risk in true Virgo fashion by thinking big picture and trying to work towards what we need to do in the physical.
With Mercury making a hard aspect to Jupiter, we could have a hard time feeling optimistic about the future. We might need to reign in the larger vision to one that is more focused on the here and now. Focus on getting grounded and envision your material world coming together in harmonious ways for the coming days. This is a great energy for vision boarding.

Friday and Libra are both ruled by the planet Venus, which gives us a great frequency for ritual when it comes to love magick. We can harness the energy of the New Moon from yesterday in succession with the Moon beginning its waxing cycle, and use the energy of today to focus on healing any fears or wounds when it comes to our relationship to love. Mercury in Libra makes a hard aspect to Neptune in Pisces which is another great energy for healing any issues around communication we may be having in our relationships with others. It could be an ungrounding day for us where we feel confused about how we feel and how to articulate those feelings. We benefit from being kind to ourselves in our emotional process.

Moon inconjunct Chiron Rx in Aries 11:44 pm
The Moon enters Scorpio today where it has its fall. When the Moon is in Scorpio we could feel like we need some alone time to work through our emotional needs and processes.
We could feel ungrounded and irritable today, especially when it comes to having to do things we do not feel like doing. With Mars and the Sun making a hard aspect, the things we want in life that are not going our way could feel extra stifling and obnoxiously annoying to us. It is good for us to take breaks at various points of the day to decompress. Be mindful not to get too agitated, victimized, or frustrated with the things outside of your control. Try to move slowly and step away when you begin to feel like you need some space.
Sunday 9/20

Moon opposition Uranus Rx in Taurus 3:56 am
Moon square Venus in Leo 1:42 pm
Moon sextile Jupiter in Capricorn 3:51 pm
Moon trine Neptune Rx in Pisces 6:47 pm
Mercury in Libra square Pluto Rx in Capricorn 10:21 pm
Tension around how we communicate is enhanced today with Mercury in Libra making a hard aspect to Pluto in Capricorn. We could have a hard time knowing how to be direct about what we are thinking, as Mercury in Libra can be passive at times. Pluto in Capricorn on the other hand is a very powerful and direct energy, we could find ourselves in communication dynamics that are competitive or we could feel like our sense of power or authority in our perception of things is threatened. This is a good time to work through feelings around resentments, our relationship to control or power in our lives, and how we communicate with others.
