Blessings mystics and seekers!
Last week of 2020 is upon us and if you are reading this, chances are you lived through it, although I know those who have crossed over to the otherside are always watching!
2020 collectively has probably been one of the worst years this current incarnation of humanity has seen, but we still have so much to be grateful for. While it is the new year according to the Gregorian Calendar, in Astrology, our New Year actually does not start until March when the Sun makes its way into Aries typically around the 20th-22nd depending on the year.
We end our year with our last full Moon of the year on Tuesday hitting at 8 degrees of Cancer. Scroll down to Tuesday to read more on how to utilize that frequency of energy in your life.
Because we are entering a whole new year, I have taken the time to write a simplified article of the 2021 astrology for you all over at thesobercurator.com. That article will go live on New Years day so make sure to keep your eyes peeled!
Evelyn is also doing a webinar on the astrology of 2021 this Wednesday, December 30th from 5pm-7:30 pm PST that you can sign up for here.
I don’t have more to say, other than Happy New Year! Blessings to you all and may all your resolutions and wishes for 2021 already be manifested in the cosmic and delivered to you.

Monday 12/28
Moon in Gemini
Moon square Neptune in Pisces 3:59 am
Moon inconjunct Pluto in Capricorn 3:03 pm
Moon void of course sextile Mars in Aries 7:01 pm
With our Moon in Gemini starting the week off, we could have some anxious energy when it comes to getting things done. It is wise to channel any excess of energy into something that helps you feel productive. We may feel ungrounded over the next couple days. Deep breaths and walks in nature are helpful.
Tuesday 12/29
Moon enters Cancer 2:28 am
Moon inconjunct Saturn in Aquarius 5:04 am
Moon inconjunct Jupiter in Aquarius 6:47 am
Moon square Chiron in Aries 12:07 pm
Moon sextile Uranus rx in Taurus 3:32 pm
Full Moon 8 degrees Cancer 7:28 pm
Our Full Moon hits tonight at 8 degrees of Cancer. Cancer is the cardinal water sign ruling the 4th house of home and family in astrology. Full Moon’s are a time of releasing, manifesting, and letting things go. With this Full Moon in Cancer, we may need to reflect on karmic or ancestral ties to family that are no longer serving our personal and spiritual evolution. We may need to make better boundaries with family members, work on healing wounds related to the matriarchal archetype, or release some resentments towards family we have had a hard time letting go. This is a powerful Moon when it comes to cycles of forgiveness and healing around paternal archetypes. The Moon is the ruler of Cancer and is connected to our relationship to Mother figures. For this reason, it is also tied to how we nurture and care for ourselves as well as others. This is a powerful time for reflecting on your health and how you take care of your spiritual and emotional well being.
Wednesday 12/30
Moon in Cancer
Venus in Sagittarius square Neptune in Pisces 2:19 am
Moon opposition Mercury in Capricorn 8:04 am
Moon trine Neptune in Pisces 1:31 pm
Moon inconjunct Venus in Sagittarius 2:42 pm
We have a hard aspect between Venus and Neptune today which can cause tensions when it comes to our stability within relationships. Since Venus is in the freedom seeking sign of Sagittarius, we may be at a point where we feel a huge desire to seek more outside of ourselves and our relationships. We may have a hard time seeing things as they truly are, with Neptune our ruler of illusion being tied into this mix. Discernment is important, but we may have a hard time seeing things in a linear way. Thankfully Mercury in the sign of Capricorn right now may help us in maintaining some level of practicality. Be mindful with how “out there” you let your emotions take you. Try to stay grounded.
Thursday 12/31
Happy Gregorian New Year!
Moon in Cancer
Moon opposition Pluto in Capricorn 12:10 am
Moon void of course square Mars in Aries 5:45 am
Moon enters Leo 10:58 am
Moon opposition Saturn in Aquarius 1:56 pm
Moon opposition Jupiter in Aquarius 4:05 pm
Moon trine Chiron in Aries 8:16 pm
Moon square Uranus rx in Taurus 11:26 pm
Our Moon enters Leo in the morning, giving us a need for emotional validation from others in a way that could be unhealthy depending on how attention seeking we are. The cabin fever/ covid frustration could feel at an all time high and we could need to find creative ways to feel a sense of community rushing into the New Year. This holiday has always been a favorite of mine personally as I love any reason to hit reset. I am a total cliche new year, new you kind of gal. I love the opportunity to set goals for myself for the future and spend months working towards them. Of course not everything works out the way we hope it would, but I think having goals helps keep us motivated in healthy ways. If you are feeling down and isolated going into 2021, do a ritual tonight focused around setting intentions towards a healthier version of yourself. Sometimes letting yourself be a little cliche and superficial can get you through some dark times. I know it has helped my mental health to have fitness or career goals, even when it feels pointless, just redirecting my mind to a goal can be so helpful.
Friday 1/1
Moon in Leo
Mercury in Capricorn sextile Neptune in Pisces 3:18 am
Moon inconjunct Sun in Capricorn 7:55 am
Moon inconjunct Neptune in Pisces 8:39 pm
Moon inconjunct Mercury in Capricorn 11:02 pm
Happy 2021! I want to take the time to acknowledge the anniversary of the death of one of my long time friends Jonny who ended his life on this day just a couple years ago. I think about him now every new years day as receiving the news of his death was incredibly hard and had a pretty profound effect on our community of friends. We miss your spirit in this realm Jonny and hope you are partying/rocking out in Rock N’ Roll Heaven!
Today we have a harmonious aspect between Mercury and Neptune which may help us get a bit more grounded within our perceptions of reality than we had been at the beginning of the week. This is a good time to envision a dream of a brighter future, and take realistic steps towards those goals. We could feel some internal tension in the evening hours between what we want vs. what we have to do that is practical. Try to find a balance between giving yourself both.
Saturday 1/2
Moon in Leo
Moon trine Venus in Sagittarius 3:24 am
Moon inconjunct Pluto in Capricorn 6:57 am
Moon void of course trine Mars in Aries 2pm
Moon enters Virgo 5:13 pm
Moon inconjunct Saturn in Aquarius 8:32 pm
Moon inconjunct Jupiter in Aquarius 11:05 pm
Our Moon entering Virgo in the early evening hours is a great frequency for getting organized and feeling motivated to take action towards our to-do list. Maybe we have some new year late winter cleaning we wish to do. I know I sure feel motivated to reorganize all of my closets and clean out areas of my home. I also plan on getting on a new fitness/health routine this month, which Virgo energy is great for implementing. Make a list of priorities and get to work!
Sunday 1/3
Moon in Virgo
Moon inconjunct Chiron in Aries 2:14 am
Moon trine Uranus rx in Taurus 5:12 am
Moon trine Sun in Capricorn 5:44 pm
Another great day for productivity and chipping away at new years resolutions. We benefit from staying busy when it comes to mundane responsibilities and physical goals. While we may not always want to do the obvious thing that is good for us, our future selves will thank us later.
Love, Peace, and Happy New Year!
